A portrait of the legendary Mabande, a powerful male lion who ruled the central and northern Timbavati before finding a new home in Klaserie. This image, captured in the winter of 2013 while guiding in the Northern Timbavati, captures Mabande's majesty with the help of dramatic sidelight from another safari vehicle.
